We’re thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row, Pasture.io has claimed the top spot in the Advanced Technologies category at the 2024 Tasmanian Export Awards! Held on October 18 in Devonport, this year's awards showcased Tasmania's best in export, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognised among them once again.

Celebrating our continued dedication to Agricultural Innovation

2023 was a surprise. And this year was no different!

This 2024 accolade recognises our unwavering commitment to providing farmers with practical, data-driven solutions that streamline farm operations and enhance productivity. From the very beginning, our mission has been to make farming simpler and more profitable through innovative technology, and this win highlights the continued success of that vision.

What makes the Tasmanian Export Awards special?

The Tasmanian Export Awards celebrate the impact of Tasmanian businesses on the international stage across industries that drive Tasmania’s economy forward. These awards reflect the dedication, innovation, and quality that define Tasmanian products and services—and for Pasture.io, they represent a commitment to the agtech solutions farmers need to meet the demands of a modern, globally connected agricultural landscape.

We’re honoured to have won this award for the second consecutive year, and we’re inspired by the exceptional companies we’re standing alongside. They all represent the strength and innovation coming out of Tasmania.

Why Pasture.io won the Advanced Technologies category

This award is a nod to our team's hard work and dedication and the power of our technology to address real challenges on the farm. Our satellite-powered agtech solution is designed to give farmers more precise control over their pasture management without adding to their workload. In an industry where margins are tight and efficiency is critical, we make every decision count — giving farmers a comprehensive view of pasture growth, grazing rotation, feed allocation, and more, all from one intuitive platform.

Our tech enables farmers to monitor their land in real-time, helping them make smarter, data-informed decisions that reduce guesswork and boost productivity. By simplifying complex data into actionable insights, Pasture.io empowers farmers to optimise their pasture and livestock management with confidence.

Leading the way in Agricultural Technology

Pasture.io's success in the Advanced Technologies category comes from our deep understanding of agriculture and our passion for technology. We understand the importance of reliability, ease of use, and data accuracy—values that we know are essential to our farming partners. This award reinforces that our approach is working: empowering farmers with innovative tools grounded in real-world farming needs.

Our team are farming experts with a drive to innovate, so we’re always working to stay ahead of the curve. We’re continually developing new features and refining our platform to ensure it meets the evolving demands of modern farming. And we’re excited about what’s to come!

What this means for Pasture.io and our farmers

Winning this award for a second year is cool because it affirms our commitment not only to both Tasmanian and Australian agriculture, but to global agtech, too. We built Pasture.io to support farmers with real solutions that simplify their lives and drive sustainable practices on their farms. This recognition fuels our determination to keep developing tools that help farmers like you maximise their operations, reduce their environmental footprint, and ultimately, achieve their goals with less effort.

At the heart of Pasture.io's work is a drive to innovate with purpose. Every feature we release, every improvement we make, is built around the needs of farmers who trust us to help them manage their land, their livestock, and their livelihood. This award is a testament to that trust, and we’re grateful to those of you who inspire us to keep pushing forward.

Looking ahead to the National Awards

This latest win also means that Pasture.io will represent Tasmania at the upcoming Australian Export Awards, set for November 20 in Canberra. We’re honoured to take our place among the national contenders, and we’re excited to continue advocating for Tasmanian innovation in agriculture.

Whether we bring home the national award or not, this journey has been invaluable. Our work is about more than just winning awards. It’s about supporting an industry we love and a community we’re proud to serve. We hope our success inspires other Tasmanian businesses to explore the international stage and push the boundaries of what's possible.
